Gro Pro Pot Elevators are specially designed to raise your fabric or plastic pot off the bottom of a saucer. This elevates the pot out of potential excess water that gathers in the saucers. This can be crucial in preventing root rot, mold issues and helps extend the longevity of your fabric or plastic pot. What is a plant elevator?

Gro Pro Pot Elevators are designed to raise your plastic or fabric pots above their saucers to promote better drainage. Saucers can collect pools of excess water that may be harmful to your pots and plants. 

Overwatering is one of the more common causes of plant problem. Heavy and poorly drained soils are susceptible to becoming waterlogged. Roots growing in waterlogged soil cannot absorb the oxygen needed to function normally and usually die.  The dying roots decay and cannot supply the plants with nutrients and water. Plants stressed or injured by waterlogging can become abnormally susceptible to certain fungal pathogens.

Symptoms and Diagnosis

Stunted slow growth with yellowing leaves is a symptom of over watering.  Plants may suffer from leaf scorch or leaf burn. Water soaked spots and blisters (Oedema) may appear on stems and leaves. The crown of the plant may rot. Damaged roots have little defense against the entrance of rot causing soil organisms.
